When you put your home up for sale, you have to be flexible and willing to show your home to prospective buyers. If buyers aren't able to view your home, they aren't going to buy it.
You have to make it easy for buyers to come into your home and view it. When you don't let people come into your home, you're going to restrict the number of buyers you get, and that will result in you leaving money on the table.
If a buyer can't see your home, they probably don't have too much of a problem with simply skipping your property. Most buyers will view 5-6 homes per day, and so missing out on yours isn't a big deal.
You're going to have to sacrifice a little bit if you want to allow buyers inside when they need to view your home. It's all part of the selling process. If you want to sell your home for top dollar, you're going to have to be flexible.
